[Q.4] Are small groups not “church”?
[A.4] Small groups are “church” in the sense that platoons are army. But this doesn’t mean armies don’t also have battalions and corresponding dining halls where they are fed and inspired, or commissaries and arsenals from which they are equipped and trained. The rooms and space in our new facilities take into consideration every age group for every stage of life and provide facilities to accommodate more people at every level. This doesn’t take away from Small Groups. Our prayer and plan is for the many who will come to the larger space with more parking and more convenient rooms for fellowship and training to feed into even more small groups! We see these environments benefitting from each other, not supplanting or substituting each other.
