[Q.13.] What approach are we taking?
[A.13.] The entire emphasis is based on a spiritual growth approach. Introducing people to Jesus Christ and helping them to grow to be like Him is the heart and soul of our efforts. No one will be pressured to give, but everyone will be encouraged to grow. Giving will be seen as the natural and supernatural expression of true spiritual maturity as it happens in community and results in reaching people for eternity.
Pastor Bill will be teaching from God’s Word each Sunday in a series on growing in Christlike grace through the lasting values of faith, hope, love, generosity, and sacrificial commitment. We are using Bible Study materials on developing our stewardship lives in the way we manage time, talent and treasure under God’s authority and wisdom. We have daily devotional materials for both morning and evening times. A night of churchwide celebration will happen Thursday March 13 as we welcome three time Dove Award winner Aaron Shust to lead us in worship and hear from one of the great visionary inspirational leaders of our time in Bill Hybels, founding and senior pastor of the Willow Creek Community Church.
