[Q.10.] What is a Giving Initiative?
[A.10.] A giving initiative is a spiritual growth emphasis by which we seek to engage the hearts and resources of God’s people to serve God’s purpose and vision in a significant and focused way. In a giving initiative we challenge ourselves to give of our resources for spiritual reasons. The result is that funds are committed by faith and disciples are developed. Whereas in a fundraising effort the emphasis is on fund raising and people are solicited for money in return for a product, service, reward or recognition
